Trench Heaters are best viewed as normal radiators with a Radiator Valve each side, sometimes 2 lockshields, sometimes 1 thermostatic regulating valve (trv) and 1 lockshield.

Trench Heaters can be fan assisted and these will either require a switch fuse unit or a remote DC power supply.

Your Plumber and Electrician Can generally install Trench Heaters without any issues as they are made for simple fit.
